1. Introduction
HealNurtura ("we", "us", "our") publishes skincare, health and fitness education at https://healnurtura.com/ and offers a free Skin Analyzer tool. HealNurtura is an online publication founded by Ayesha Muneer.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices you have. Please read it together with our Cookie Policy. If you have questions, write to contact@healnurtura.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form. If you use our contact form, we receive the first name, email address and message (up to 180 characters) that you enter.
- Emails. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message.
- Comments and other forms. If we enable comments or other forms in future, we will receive the details you submit through them.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, your browser and our hosting and analytics tools may share information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. Cookies and similar technologies may also be used, as explained in our Cookie Policy.
The Skin Analyzer
The Skin Analyzer does not require an account or an email address. It is designed so that the answers you give are processed in your browser and are not sent to HealNurtura or any other service. It is a general guidance tool and not a medical diagnostic tool.
Information from third parties
Analytics providers, advertising partners (if we use them) and affiliate retailers may provide us with reports about how the site is used or how referrals performed. These reports are usually aggregated and do not identify you personally.
3. How we use information
We use personal information only for the purposes below. If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA), the table also shows the legal basis we rely on.

4. Google Analytics, Google AdSense and advertising
Important: this section applies whenever we use Google Analytics or display ads served by Google AdSense on this website. If we work with other advertising companies, we will name them here.
Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use HealNurtura. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, device and browser details, approximate location and your IP address. Google processes this data on our behalf and under its own privacy policy. Google AdSense and third-party advertising
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to our website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our visitors based on their visit to our site and other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
- If other third-party vendors or ad networks serve ads on our site, we will list them on this page, and you may visit their websites to opt out of the use of cookies for personalized advertising where they offer that option.

Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
Google's EU User Consent Policy requires valid consent for the use of cookies or other local storage where legally required, and for the collection, sharing and use of personal data for ad personalization, for visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland. If we display Google ads to visitors in those regions, we will do so with a consent management platform that Google has certified, and you will be able to change or withdraw your choice at any time.
What we do not send to Google
We do not knowingly send your name, email address or other directly identifying information to Google through our analytics or advertising settings. Because HealNurtura covers health topics, we do not use your Skin Analyzer answers to target advertising.
5. Affiliate links
Some product links in our articles and in Skin Analyzer results are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
When you click an affiliate link, you leave HealNurtura and the retailer's own privacy policy and cookies apply. The retailer may record that you arrived from our site so that we can be credited for a qualifying purchase.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and similar technologies may be used for essential site functions, for analytics and, if we show ads, for advertising. Our Cookie Policy explains the categories, who sets them, how long they last and how to control them through your browser and Google's Ads Settings.
7. How we share information
We do not sell or rent the information you send us through the contact form. We may share information in these limited cases:
- Service providers. Companies that help us run the site, such as web hosting, email, form handling, analytics and security providers, who may process information on our behalf.
- Advertising and analytics partners. Google and, if we add them, other advertising companies, as described in section 4.
- Legal and safety reasons. Where we believe disclosure is required by law, a court order or a valid legal request, or is needed to protect our rights, our visitors or others.
- Business changes. If HealNurtura is transferred to a new owner, information may be transferred as part of that change, and this policy would continue to apply or be updated with notice.
8. Third-party links and content
Our pages link to other websites, including our Facebook and Pinterest profiles and retailer sites such as Amazon. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read the privacy policy of any site you visit. Our pages may also load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google's servers and shares your IP address and standard request information.
9. How long we keep information
We keep contact messages and related correspondence only for as long as we need them to respond, to manage any follow-up and to keep a reasonable record, and then we delete or anonymize them. Server and analytics data is kept for the period set in the relevant tool or by our hosting provider. We may keep information for longer where the law requires it or where we need it to establish or defend a legal claim.
Google also keeps server logs of the ads it serves. According to Google, it anonymizes this log data by removing part of the IP address after 9 months and cookie information after 18 months.
10. International transfers
HealNurtura is read by visitors around the world, and our service providers, including Google, may process information in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States. Where the law requires safeguards for such transfers, we rely on the mechanisms our providers use, such as contractual protections. Privacy laws differ between countries, and your information may be subject to the laws of the country where it is processed.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information we hold, such as keeping our software updated and limiting access to it. No website or method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you send information to us at your own risk.
12. Your rights and choices
Your rights depend on where you live. This section is a general summary, not legal advice. To use any right, email contact@healnurtura.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we will respond within the time required by the law that applies to you.
- United Kingdom and EEA. You may have the right to access your personal data, correct it, erase it, restrict or object to its use, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority, which in the UK is the Information Commissioner's Office.
- United States. Residents of some states may have the right to know what personal information we hold, request deletion or correction, and opt out of targeted advertising, and may not be treated unfairly for using these rights.
- Canada. You may ask to access or correct your personal information and may withdraw consent, subject to legal limits. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
- Australia. You may ask to access or correct your personal information and may complain to us and then to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
You can also manage advertising and cookies yourself through your browser settings, Google's Ads Settings and the tools listed in our Cookie Policy. You can unsubscribe from any email from us by replying and asking us to stop.
13. Children's privacy
HealNurtura is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
14. Health information and medical disclaimer
HealNurtura provides general education about skincare, health and fitness. It is not medical advice and does not replace a consultation with a doctor, dermatologist or other qualified healthcare professional. The Skin Analyzer gives general guidance and is not a diagnostic tool.
Please do not include sensitive health details, such as diagnoses, test results or medical history, in messages you send us through the contact form or by email.
15. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this policy when our practices, the tools we use or the law change, for example if we enable analytics, add advertising or introduce a consent tool. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and changes take effect when they are posted here. Please check back from time to time.
